Local runs are the best. You can sleep a little later, the drive is short, and the competition isn't as fierce as it is, say, in the metropolis of Greensboro. Except, of course, when that crazy-fast Jay guy shows up. You'd be surprised who you might find on the podium (an actual podium!). MMRCers...
